Thanksgiving and Thankstaking
Dearest Clubbers, After conducting an epic fake-out last week, making you think that Sam had taken over the listserv, I return triumphantly to reclaim the power of information dispersion! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Break and is prepared to return to the BEST two weeks of the fall semester!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dearest Clubbers, It was much to my dismay this week that, upon sending out a link to join the listserv (this email list), it appears that nearly half of the current club members have not been receiving my emails all year. My Dearest Clubbers, Have you truly lived life if you have not experienced the highs and lows of club running? This weekend, clubbers journeyed north to the promised land of chocolate. Competition was fierce, the terrain was mountainous, and clubbers battled with unwavering heart and ferocity. Although Jr/Sr/Grad and Fr/So races were not scored, we obviously won all of them on the men’s and women’s sides. In the championship races, the men placed 18th, and OUR FIRST WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM SINCE 2022 PLACED 4TH. We had some incredible performances, including Nicole Alfers with a season-best, Abbey Mckee and Catherine Parker…
