Dearest Clubbers,

After conducting an epic fake-out last week, making you think that Sam had taken over the listserv, I return triumphantly to reclaim the power of information dispersion! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Break and is prepared to return to the BEST two weeks of the fall semester!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As excited as you may be to study for finals, the club has got some exciting events for you this week to keep you all from going into deep depression.

1. THE GREAT SOCK EXCHANGE IS ON WEDNESDAY, LDOC, AT OUR LAST OFFICIAL PRACTICE! If you haven’t bought socks for your match yet, you’d better pay for Prime because it would be really, really sad if someone didn’t get fun socks. Join us for a lovely night of giving and hot cocoa to celebrate the end of the semester.

2. DOG RUN. DOG RUN. DOG RUN. On Thursday morning (the reading day), we will be traveling to Orange County Animal Shelter to give the dogs there some much-needed exercise. More info coming soon…

3. TEAM SHOP. The promised and much-anticipated team shop is finally opening. The date is TBD, but it should be before the end of the semester. I have sent out an interest poll to help Underground Printing know how many of each product to make, so check it out in the main GroupMe!

4. JDL Earlybird Invitational! On December 7th, the club will be supporting any runners who would like to compete at our first indoor track meet of the year! See more details in the Dues-Paying GroupMe.
