Esteemed members of UNC Run Club,

I would like to extend a heartfelt congratulations to the freshman who have successfully completed their first year at Carolina, and to our beloved seniors graduating with a degree from this fine institution. The heart of run club lies within our fearless senior leadership and you will all be missed dearly.

Last week, we celebrated the completion of our racing season with our annual Mapleview Run! Typically, this event is run with Marathon team, but none of them showed up 🙁.

TONIGHT. We have our 2nd-ever LDOC kickback at the clubhouse. Come for pizza and Capri-Suns and help us honor some outstanding individuals who have made this semester great. There will be a cornhole tournament so prepare yourselves (and find somebody from the Midwest to play with) to battle for glory and gluttony. 

Announcements aside, thank you everyone for an awesome semester! From hosting the largest outdoor meet in the country to winning nationals, to partnering with the tar heel 10, to securing outdoor trackcess, to running clubs first sponsored half marathon, to building up the sprint team, this semester we have made some massive steps to club in no small part to the last administration and the hard working members of this one. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped to support and grow this club, and I am beyond excited to see what we can do in the Fall.
