Clubbers,

With nasty week coming to a close and formal coming and going, we’ve been pushed into the last couple of weeks of the semester.  First and foremost, I wanted to say thank you all for the awesome last week.  You guys made it so fun.

Second, I wanted to congratulate our new officers.  For those who aren’t up-to-date, next years officer board will consist of:

• Race Director Andrew Zmijewski
• Treasurer Ishan Bheda
• Service Chair Carrine Karyani 
• and Social Chairs Evan Eberle and Anna Yi

You guys are in great hands and I can’t wait to see what these guys pull off next year.

Anyways, here’s the stuff you’re all waiting for.

1. Final Nasty Week Rankings: 2024 Nasty Week Rankings
2. Practice will begin at 4:30pm starting today.  Hopefully this will allow us to avoid anyone hurting themselves slipping on some hard-to-see leaves (Josh Roten moment).  If we find that we have to move it to earlier, we will adjust, but for now, we just want to keep it so as many people as possible can still come.  If you can’t make 4:30, I encourage you to meet with others.  Paul has said he will be continuing on many days at 5.
3. D1er Brynn Brown has asked me to pass along the following information about a chapter of Run Your City her and some teammates have just started here in Chapel Hill.  RYC is a club aimed at making running accessible to children of all levels and economic backgrounds, and her and her teammates are looking for some more people to volunteer or fill leadership roles.  This is unaffiliated with our club, but I think is a great opportunity for anyone looking for something to volunteer for.  For anyone interested, shoot me a message in GroupMe and I’ll pass you along Brynn’s number.  Attached is a PowerPoint about it.
4. Lastly, for this week we will just be doing easy runs led by anyone who wishes to present a route.  That is, no organized planned workouts for this week.
