Clubbers,

It’s finally time… 

Tomorrow we head into the final racing week of the year.  With nationals this weekend, I wish to keep the email short and sweet in the interest of everyone’s sleep (really just so tired from Halloweekend…. and on that same note, congratulations to everyone for making it through Halloweekend and making it and abolute blast).

First and foremost:

1. We have once again been granted access to Eddie Smith Field House on Mondays AND Thursdays at 6:30pm.  We will be sharing the space with Boxing Club, but it is ours to use.  Please fill out the form below before attending the allotted time slot.  We just need a general head count of who will be using the facilities.  Importantly, we ask that you clean up after yourself in there and use no larger than quarter inch spikes while training on the track.  Likewise, if you have your own shots, THESE MUST BE RUBBERIZED.  Please do not attempt to use outdoor shots in here.  Anyone who fails to see basic respect of the facilities will be barred access from them. Distance runners, we are hoping that once the outdoor track is completed, we will be allowed access to that… stay hopeful https://forms.gle/35GsLxGRY8miaQJn9
2. For those of you attending nationals, please sign up for a driver ASAP.
3. With a good chunk of the team being at nationals this weekend, we will not be holding official practice on Friday.
4. With the clocks set back, we had to decide whether or not to move practice back.  We have decided for the time being to attempt to continue practicing at 5, seeing as nationals is this weekend.  If it becomes evident that we need to change this week, we will adjust accordingly.  

That is all for the housekeeping stuff.

Lastly, and I think really most importantly: if you have not yet voted in the election, I implore you to do it Tuesday.  At the end of you day, you all are the cornerstone of democracy and without your voice it fails.  I cast my ballot Thursday and hope that you all will do or have already done the same.
